Laura Rice is a writer, translator, and activist interested in cross-cultural relations, academic exchange and social justice in an international context. Holding the PhD in Comparative Literature, she is Professor Emerita at Oregon State University. Her special interests include North Africa, gender, literacy, postcolonial literature and sustainable development. “Bridge Over Traveled Water” is a platform to share information, observations and opportunities as they occur in this international framework.
